The UK hospitality industry is responsible for around 3m jobs, generates £130bn in activity resulting in £38bn in taxation, yet unlike the Arts or Sports it does not have its own dedicated Minister. There is clearly a need for change – and this petition is asking that a Minister for Hospitality be created for current and successive governments.
Claire Bosi, from Chef & Restaurant Magazine has done great work in getting this going and it makes sense to support it.. we all have a vested interest in best representation for our Industry so please, do consider signing so we can get this up for debate in Parliament.
